The first step to get a job

I have probably spent hundreds of hours last year while surfing the internet for job hunting techniques. Most of the bloggers and career advising sites say that "The first step of job hunting is to write an impressive CV that would earn you a job interview". But I disagree. An impressive CV would definitely earn you a job interview
but it may or may not lead you to a job confirmation. In order to make sure that your job hunting ends with a confirmation letter in your hand you need to add another step before you make that "Impressive CV" or "The CV that would win you a job". I believe that its not the CV that wins you the job rather the skills of a person play the main role. So the first step that you can and should start even in the first year of you professional degree program is the skill development. You should start molding yourself in such a way that you perfectly set fit to the requirements of your potential employer.
